The XXL ALBE EL walking frame is specially developed for heavier users and offers high safety, comfort and easy handling in everyday life or in the facility. The electrically height-adjustable arm supports are conveniently set at the touch of a button between 83 and 131 cm. The arm-support width can also be individually adjusted between 46 and 62 cm – so the walking frame adapts optimally to different users and body types. The robust steel frame is designed for a user weight of up to 250 kg. Four smooth-running castors with a 125 mm diameter allow good manoeuvrability – two of them are fitted with a double foot brake.

When is the ALBE EL XXL the right choice?

• →User weight between 130 and 250 kg: Standard walking frames (ALBE GAS-RA, ALBE-RA) are only rated up to 130 kg, ALBE SMALL/HR up to 150 kg. The ALBE EL XXL covers the upper load range – with a safety margin.
• →Frequent user changes: Electric adjustment at the touch of a button saves time over manual adjustment – ideal in clinics and rehab centres.
• →Reduced arm/hand strength: When the user struggles to adjust the height manually, the electric drive offers real relief.
• →A standard walking frame instead of XXL: For users under 130 kg we recommend the manually gas-spring-adjustable ALBE GAS-RA (1-2251-RA) or the ALBE HR (1-2246-HR) with up to 150 kg.
