What does the user really need?

Load capacity

Standard up to 150–160 kg, bariatric up to 300 kg. For high user weight, choose the XXL version – the solution must match the real load.

Height adjustment

The ECONOMY support frames cover the classic range of 45–60 cm; SIMPLY works with a higher armrest position (66–81 cm) for freestanding use.

What is the difference between a toilet support and a commode chair?

A toilet support complements the existing toilet – with additional armrests or a higher support frame. A commode chair temporarily replaces the toilet with a mobile chair with bucket. You can find the models under shower & commode chairs.

Does a toilet support need drilling?

The frames and support frames (SIMPLY, ECONOMY, COMFORT XXL) stand freely around or over the toilet – no screws and fully removable. The STAND UP armrest, by contrast, is mounted directly on the toilet.

Are the models suitable for professional care?

Yes. Powder-coated steel frames with wipe-disinfectable surfaces, individually available spare parts and a 5-year warranty make them suitable for hospitals, care homes and home care. Your conditions are shown in your dealer account.

When is a simple armrest enough?

When the seat height of the existing toilet is fine and only a secure handhold for standing up is missing. If the seating position is too low, a support frame is the better choice.

Are there solutions for overweight users?

Yes. The COMFORT XXL (1-1297) is rated up to 300 kg and its seat width is adjustable between 55 and 85 cm. You can find further bariatric aids under XXL aids.

Does the support frame fit every toilet?

As a rule, yes – the ECONOMY models are designed for standard floor-standing and wall-hung toilets. If in doubt, compare the dimensions of the existing toilet with the inside dimensions of the support frame.
