Which stool is right – standard or hygiene seat?

The standard seat is closed and offers more seating comfort. The hygiene seat has a cut-out at the front for intimate cleaning and drainage – often the first choice in professional care and rehab.

Are there solutions for heavier users?

Yes. The HEAVY XXL and SVEA XXL models carry up to 200 kg, the BERTA XXL shower bench up to 300 kg. More bariatric solutions can be found under XXL aids.

What is the difference between a shower stool and a shower chair?

A shower stool has no backrest and stands freely – compact and for more mobile users. A shower chair additionally offers back- and armrests for users with greater limitations.

When is a wall-mounted folding seat the better choice?

In small or level-access showers where a free-standing stool blocks the space. The folding seat is fixed to the wall and folded up after use.

Why a swivel seat?

The 360° swivel seat makes it easier to get in over the bathtub edge and to sit down without turning the whole body. Lockable in four positions.
