BERTA XXL shower bench – when a stool is too narrow and too weak

In bariatric care, standard aids usually fail on two points at once: load capacity and seat area. The BERTA solves both. With a load capacity of 300 kg it carries more than any other shower furniture in the range, and with a seat width of 72 cm and seat depth of 40 cm it offers enough space to sit comfortably and slide sideways instead of having to stand up.

The soft PU seat is more than comfort: anyone who stays seated longer due to limited mobility feels a hard edge after just a few minutes. The surface is smooth, wipeable and resistant to disinfectants, and the frame of galvanised and powder-coated steel tube withstands daily moisture.

The height is adjusted via clips – without tools between 47 and 60 cm. This suits users who transfer sideways from a wheelchair as well as those who sit down from standing. The four feet are individually adjustable, articulate up to 10° in all directions and have anti-slip rubber, so the bench stands on all four points even on sloping or uneven shower floors.
