The SWIVEL Standard makes getting in and out of the tub easier – thanks to 360° rotation and four locking positions (0°, 90°, 180°, 270°). The sturdy, rust-protected steel-tube frame and the tool-free stabiliser, which presses firmly against the tub wall, provide a secure hold on most standard bathtubs. The ergonomic, closed plastic seat (45 × 40 cm) has drainage holes for quick water run-off and easy cleaning. Anti-slip rubber pads and the softly padded PU backrest provide added comfort and a secure stand. At only 6.4 kg the seat stays mobile yet safe – and supports up to 130 kg. If hygiene access is needed, the SWIVEL Hygiene (1-1137) with a front cut-out is the right variant.

When is the SWIVEL Standard the right choice?

• →Sideways entry into the bathtub: The user sits sideways onto the seat and is then turned over the tub rim into the bath – without trip risk or hip twisting.
• →Comfortable seat without cut-out: If no intimate-care cut-out is needed, the closed standard seat is more pleasant.
• →Limited hip or knee mobility: When twisting is painful – the swivel function handles the rotation, the user keeps the spine straight.
• →Need a hygiene seat instead of a standard seat? When a cut-out is needed, the SWIVEL Hygiene (1-1137) is the better choice.
