The ALBE STANDARD forearm walker (1-2250) is a gait trainer with padded forearm supports for walking practice, muscle building and mobilisation. The user supports a large part of their body weight on the forearms, moves protected inside the frame and regains the confidence a rollator can no longer provide. At 15 kg it is the lightest model in the series and stays manoeuvrable in corridors and bathrooms. CE MDR Class 1, 5-year warranty.

Product in detail
The ALBE STANDARD is the all-rounder of the series: manually height-adjustable from 83 to 131 cm, with four 360° swivel castors and a dual foot brake on two castors. At 15 kg it is the lightest model and easy to move around, and its maximum frame width of 76 cm fits through standard doors. The padded forearm supports take the weight instead of putting it on the wrists.
Manoeuvrable indoors
Four 125 mm swivel castors, rotating 360° – even in narrow bathrooms and corridors.
Forearm supports
Padded, wipeable and adjustable to the user in height and width (29–46 cm).
Tool-free adjustment
Height adjusted in seconds without tools – designed for daily practice.
Reuse
Bought once, used many times
A walker that returns to service after reprocessing is paid for only once – every further deployment lowers your cost per use.
Reuse is good not only for the environment, but also for your margin.

FAQ
What is the difference between a forearm walker and a rollator?
The forearm walker takes a large part of the body weight via the forearm supports. It provides considerably more stability than a rollator, where the user only holds on with the hands.
Can the model be reprocessed?
Yes. The welded steel frame, powder-coated surface and replaceable wear parts are designed for reuse. The CE label remains legible even after disinfection.
Are spare parts available?
Yes, castors, pads, forearm supports and adjustment parts can be reordered individually – see Spare parts & accessories.
Who is the standard model suitable for?
For users with a fixed assignment whose height setting rarely changes – economical, low-maintenance and easy to move.
Is a foot brake enough?
In many situations, yes. If the user should brake gradually while walking or the carer should not have to bend down, an HR model with hand brake such as the ALBE HR (1-2245-HR) is the better choice.
