MOBILE folding shower chair Standard

Many care situations are not permanent: short-term care, respite care, holidays, visiting the children. This is exactly what the MOBILE is built for. Folded, it measures only 15 cm in depth and fits behind the door, in a cupboard or in the car boot.

Unfolded, it is a fully fledged shower chair: 45 × 40 cm seat, softly padded backrest, seat height adjustable without tools between 45 and 60 cm. The backrest is the difference to a stool – anyone who cannot sit unsupported needs something to lean on, otherwise showering becomes a balancing act.

The rubber feet are slip-resistant, and the frame is galvanised and powder-coated to withstand daily moisture. At 7.8 kg the chair remains portable. This version has a closed seat (standard); the other version is the MOBILE Hygiene (1-1117). For permanent care without the need for a backrest, the LINA (1-1110-L) is lighter and more economical.

The standard seat is closed and more comfortable. The hygiene seat has a front cut-out for intimate hygiene and drainage – often the first choice in care and rehab.

How small does the chair fold?

Does it have a backrest?

Yes, softly padded. That is what distinguishes it from a shower stool.

Why are the feet movable?

Bathroom floors are rarely level. The feet are individually height-adjustable and movable up to 10° in all directions, so the aid stands on all four points instead of wobbling.

Why galvanised and powder-coated?

Because the product is permanently in a wet area. The electrolytically applied zinc layer protects the tube, the powder coating makes the surface scratch-resistant and easy to clean.

Is the model suitable for reuse?

Yes. The welded frame, the galvanised and powder-coated surface and the replaceable wear parts are designed for it. The CE label remains legible even after disinfection.
