TOM bed trapeze – a standing aid for any bed
Conventional bed trapezes require a care bed with a trapeze holder. Not TOM: it stands on its own base next to the bed, with a stabiliser against tipping, and can be set up in under two minutes. The triangle handle hangs above the person lying down and is adjustable in height and position, so users pull themselves up instead of being pulled. This relieves carers’ backs and shoulders and supports repositioning in bed. Load capacity up to 100 kg, total height 1.8 m.
