Product in detail

SAFETY bath grab rail

The SAFETY is the aid with the best ratio of effort to effect in the bathroom: fitted in a few minutes, ready to use immediately, removable at any time – and still exactly where the user would otherwise have nothing to hold on to.

The clamp fixing grips around the bath rim and is tightened by hand. The clamping range of 6 to 13.5 cm covers most standard baths. The friction rubber contact surfaces spread the pressure, protect the enamel and stop the rail from shifting.

The grip surface is deliberately large: it has to be safe to hold even with a wet, soapy hand. The frame is galvanised and powder-coated, so it withstands permanent moisture. At 1.1 kg the rail is the lightest aid in the bathroom range – an argument for home care, where every item has to be carried.

For a complete entry solution, combine it with the STEP bath step (1-1120): the step reduces the height, the rail secures the movement. If bathing should take place seated, the FLEXIBLE suspended bath seat (1-1130) or the SWIVEL rotating bath seat (1-1136) are the right solutions.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does the rail hold securely without drilling?

Yes, with the clamp firmly tightened and a suitable bath rim. The load capacity is 130 kg.

Which baths does it fit?

For bath rim thicknesses from 6 to 13.5 cm.

Does the clamp damage the bath?

The contact surfaces are covered with friction rubber, which spreads the pressure and protects the surface.

Are tools needed?

No, the clamp is tightened by hand.

How heavy is the rail?

1.1 kg.

Can it be removed again?

Yes, without a trace – which makes it suitable for rented homes and reuse.

Why galvanised and powder-coated?

Because the product is permanently in a wet area. The electrolytically applied zinc layer protects the tube, the powder coating makes the surface scratch-resistant and easy to clean.

Is the model suitable for reuse?

Yes. The welded frame, the galvanised and powder-coated surface and the replaceable wear parts are designed for it. The CE label remains legible even after disinfection.

Are spare parts available?

Yes, clamping parts, rubber pads and small parts can be reordered individually – see Spare parts & accessories.
