STEP bath step
The most dangerous moment when bathing is the step over the bath rim: a high step, wet tiles, often nothing to hold on to. The STEP addresses exactly that and turns one big step into two small ones.
The tread measures 45 × 40 cm – large enough for the whole foot, not just the toes. It is slip-resistant and the feet are rubberised, so the step stands firmly even on a wet floor. The height of 20 cm is chosen to noticeably ease the bath rim without becoming a tripping edge itself.
At 3.0 kg the step is quickly set up, moved aside and cleaned – important in households where others also use the bath. It needs no installation and no drilling, which makes it suitable for rented homes and short-term care.
It reaches its full effect in combination with the SAFETY bath grab rail (1-1121): the step reduces the height, the rail provides support. Anyone who can no longer stand safely is better served by the FLEXIBLE suspended bath seat (1-1130) or the SWIVEL rotating bath seat (1-1136), because bathing then takes place seated.

It solves the height, not the support. In combination with a bath grab rail, getting in becomes considerably safer.

Why galvanised and powder-coated?
Because the product is permanently in a wet area. The electrolytically applied zinc layer protects the tube, the powder coating makes the surface scratch-resistant and easy to clean.
Is the model suitable for reuse?
