Stable floor-to-ceiling pole for safe transfers and care

The ASSISTENT floor-to-ceiling pole is a reliable solution for bed transfers, care and everyday support. It provides optimal help when standing up and sitting down – entirely without drilling or elaborate fitting. The pole is mechanically tension-mounted between floor and ceiling and adjusts steplessly from 215 to 305 cm. With a counter-tension of approx. 90 kg it sits securely. Rubber pads at the top and bottom prevent slipping and protect surfaces. The 35 mm diameter provides a good grip. Thanks to the modular system, the pole can be flexibly extended with a handle, trapeze and matching mounting plates.

Drill-free mounting

Tensioned between floor and ceiling – no drilling, no damage. Ideal for rented homes.

Usable in every room

Bedroom, living room, bathroom, WC or hallway – placeable wherever a secure hold-point is needed.

Modularly expandable

Handle, trapeze and mounting plates for weak or sloped ceilings can be added at any time.

Barrier-free living – support in every room

Accessible, barrier-free living starts where standing up, sitting down and transferring happen every day – and that is rarely the bedroom alone. The ASSISTENT floor-to-ceiling pole is set up without drilling exactly where the hold-point is needed and can be repositioned or removed without a trace at any time. That makes it a flexible solution for home adaptation in rented and owner-occupied flats, for short-term care and in care facilities.

  • Bedroom: Placed next to the bed it gives support when getting up and lying down – with the trapeze accessory it becomes a full pull-up aid.
  • Living room: At the armchair or sofa it makes rising from low seating easier and reduces the risk of falls when repositioning.
  • Bathroom & WC: A secure hold-point beside shower, bath or toilet – the smooth, wipe-disinfectable surface is designed for damp environments.
  • Hallway & transitions: At narrow points and transitions it serves as a fixed orientation and hold-point on the way through the home.

Key advantages

  • No drilling required: Simple, residue-free fixing – ideal for rented homes and temporary use.
  • Height-adjustable 215–305 cm: Covers ceiling heights from 2.15 to 3.05 m – including high ceilings in older buildings.
  • Mechanical counter-tension (approx. 90 kg): Secure, firm hold between floor and ceiling.
  • Bright zinc-plated steel tube: Stable, durable and corrosion-protected in continuous use.
  • Rubber pads at top and bottom: No slipping, protection of floor and ceiling surfaces.
  • Rated up to 150 kg: A reliable hold-point for transfers and when standing up.
  • Smooth, easy-care surface: Wipe-disinfectable – hygienic in care use.

When is the ASSISTENT floor-to-ceiling pole the right choice?

  • A secure hold-point without drilling is wanted: When no wall or ceiling drilling is possible – the pole is simply tensioned in place.
  • Home adaptation step by step: Usable as a single measure towards barrier-free living – no structural work, repositionable at any time.
  • Extend bed transfer with a trapeze: With the trapeze accessory (49-502), the pole becomes a pull-up aid at the bed.
  • No suitable ceiling available? Then the free-standing TOM bed trapeze (49-400) or the BEN bed standing aid (49-600) is the alternative without ceiling contact.
  • Weak or sloped ceiling? With the appropriate mounting plates (49-503 for weak, 49-504 for sloped ceilings), the pole can be safely tensioned there too.

Accessories – modularly expandable
