FLEXIBLE Hygiene suspended bath seat
The critical movement when bathing is not sitting, but lowering yourself into the bath and pushing yourself up again at the end. Exactly these two moments disappear with the FLEXIBLE: the user sits down sideways on the seat, swings the legs over the rim and stays seated at rim height.
The seat rests on the bath rim and is adjusted steplessly to bath widths from 69 to 78 cm via adjustable supports. This covers many standard baths; for special formats you should measure the inner width beforehand. The 45 × 40 cm seat has water drainage so that no water remains standing.
This version has a seat with a cut-out (hygiene). The hygiene seat is often the first choice in care and rehab because it allows intimate hygiene while seated; the standard seat is more comfortable. The other version is the FLEXIBLE Standard (1-1130). A backrest can be retrofitted if the user needs something to lean against.
If sitting down sideways and turning is already difficult, the SWIVEL rotating bath seat (1-1136) is the better solution: there the seat turns, not the body. If only getting in needs securing, the STEP bath step (1-1120) and the SAFETY bath grab rail (1-1121) are enough.
