ALBE XXL EL – bariatric up to 250 kg, electrically height-adjustable

In bariatric mobilisation, standard devices fail on two points: load capacity and the space between the forearm supports. The XXL solves both. The reinforced frame carries up to 250 kg, and the forearm supports offer 46 to 62 cm inner width instead of the usual 29 to 46 cm.

The electric height adjustment is not a convenience here but a necessity: with high body weight, manual adjustment under load is hardly reasonable, and standing up needs support. The LINAK lifting motor moves the height from 83 to 131 cm at the push of a button, operated via a hand control with coiled cable.

With a maximum frame width of 93 cm, the walker remains manoeuvrable in normal corridors and rooms despite its size; check door widths and manoeuvring space before provision. Four 360° swivel castors of 125 mm keep it manoeuvrable, two of them carry the dual foot brake.

If 150 kg and the standard width are sufficient, the ALBE EL (1-2255) and the ALBE STANDARD (1-2250) are the more economical choice. You will find further bariatric aids up to 300 kg under XXL aids.
